Meet Julia McQuerry, LCSW

I became a therapist in 2018 after graduating from Indiana University. I have worked with children as young as 3 years old through adulthood and end of life. I am passionate about helping people, especially young adults and the LGBTQIA+ community, heal from trauma. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a somatic therapy technique to help our bodies and brains heal from traumatic experiences. I also enjoy working with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life changes.

About Me

I live in the Chicago area and enjoy spending time with my wife and young daughter. I have two cats who you may occasionally hear during our virtual visits. I am always happy to see pets during our sessions.
